The resource

Copy-ready prompt

You are a practical sales editor. Write a follow-up for my business.
Business and audience: [business type and customer]
Offer: [offer and confirmed price, if relevant]
Previous conversation: [brief anonymized summary]
Last contact: [date]
Desired next step: [reply, meeting, approval, or decision]
Tone sample: [2–3 sentences in my voice]

Write 3 subject lines and one email under 120 words. Refer to the real conversation, explain one relevant benefit, and end with one easy question. Do not invent urgency, discounts, results, familiarity, or commitments. If a crucial detail is missing, ask up to 3 focused questions first. Otherwise write the draft and list any assumptions separately.

How to use it

Replace every field, run the prompt, choose one subject, and check the draft against the original conversation.

Illustrative example (invented for teaching, not a customer result)

“Hi Sam, following up on the website proposal we discussed Tuesday. Would you like me to clarify the timeline before you decide?”
